3rd Annual Sports Awards Gala Celebrated IUE Athletes
The achievements of our student athletes, who proudly represented our university across various disciplines throughout the year, were honored at the 2025 Izmir University of Economics Sports Awards Gala.
Held on May 20, 2025, in the Conference Hall, the event brought together 12 teams and individual athletes from 11 sports branches. Now a tradition, the gala was organized for the third time this year. A total of 148 athletes took the stage to receive their plaques and certificates of appreciation. The IUE Hiphop Dance Club added color to the evening with their lively performance. Graduating student athletes were also awarded IUE medals for their dedication.
