Support Scholarship / Discount Application Announcement for Continuing Students

Applications for the Support Scholarship/Discount, carried out by the Health, Culture, and Sports Directorate of Izmir University of Economics, have begun for current students as of August 14, 2025.

Students who wish to apply for a scholarship must send an email stating their application request to sksm@ieu.edu.tr. Students who submit an application request will be sent an application form to fill out via email.

After completing the application form, students must send all documents, together with the required supporting documents, in PDF format in a single email to the same address.

Application Requirements

Students applying for a support scholarship/discount

• must have been continuously enrolled and actively studying for at least one academic year prior to the application date,
• must have a grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.00,
• must not have any unsuccessful or non-attendance courses,
• must not have received any disciplinary penalties.

In addition, applicants must provide official documentation proving their financial and/or emotional difficulties. Applications that cannot be documented will not be considered for scholarships.

Applications that do not meet these requirements and are submitted with incomplete documentation will not be considered.

Application Calendar

• Application Dates: August 14– 24, 2025
• Announcement of Results: August 29, 2025
  The results will be communicated to students individually via email.

2. Fill out the application form that will be sent to you.
3. Send the form you filled out, together with the required documents, in PDF format in a single email to the same address.
